Notifications

If reminders are not appearing, check that notifications are allowed for NotDone in iPhone Settings. NotDone can still reconcile an elapsed timer when you reopen the app even if notifications are disabled.

Timers and Live Activities

NotDone saves the timer end time instead of requiring the app to remain open. Supported short timers can also appear as Live Activities on the Lock Screen and Dynamic Island.

Finish Item vs. Cancel Item

Finish Item is for something you actually completed, even if you already performed several remaining steps outside the app. It records the item as completed. Cancel Item stops tracking an item without counting it as completed.

Data & Backup

NotDone V1 stores data locally on your iPhone. Its app data is designed to remain eligible for normal iPhone/iCloud device backup when iCloud Backup is enabled. This is backup and restore, not live syncing between devices.

Apple Watch

NotDone notifications can appear on Apple Watch through standard iPhone notification mirroring, depending on your Apple Watch notification settings. Additional Watch-specific NotDone features are planned for a later update.

Restore Purchases

The production app includes a Restore Purchases option for eligible App Store purchases.
