Laundry is still in the washer. The return is still waiting for a refund. The prescription still needs pickup. NotDone remembers what happens next.
Most task apps stop caring the moment you check something off.
Real life doesn’t.
A wash cycle ends. A package gets dropped off. A repair gets scheduled. A trial reaches its decision date. There’s always another state before it’s truly finished.
No projects, priorities, boards, tags, or productivity systems. Just the next real-world step.

Timers, waiting periods, deadlines and human actions each know what should happen next.
The item stays open until the whole process is actually complete—not just started.
Finish Item lets you skip tracked steps you already completed and close the process as truly done. Cancel Item removes something you no longer want to track without counting it as completed.
A normal reminder can tell you when the wash ends. NotDone keeps going until the clothes are dry, folded and put away.
Running → unload → done.
Request → wait → pickup.
Ordered → delivered → checked.
Sent → follow up → resolved.
Charging → unplug → take it.
Drop off → wait → pick up.
Start → work → review → submit.
Pick up → put away → clear → floor.
Move the load to the dryer.
Your return isn’t finished yet.
NotDone doesn’t just ring a bell and disappear. It knows whether you need to do something, wait for something, check something, or make a decision.
There is no backlog to maintain and no productivity system to learn. Start a real-world process, then let NotDone hold the state until there is nothing left to remember.

NotDone keeps its V1 data on your iPhone and is designed to remain eligible for normal iPhone/iCloud device backup when you have iCloud Backup enabled. This is backup and restore—not live multi-device sync.
Yes. NotDone notifications can appear on Apple Watch through standard iPhone notification mirroring, depending on your Watch settings. More Watch-specific NotDone functions are planned for a later update.
